The School of Law offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) is a four-year program that provides a strong foundation in legal principles and practice. Graduates wishing to advance their expertise can pursue the Master of Laws (LL.M.), with specialized areas including Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Law and Sustainable Development, and Intellectual Property and ICT Law.

Graduates are well-prepared for careers in litigation, corporate and commercial law, environmental law, public policy, intellectual property, legal consultancy, the judiciary, and other sectors where legal expertise is in high demand.

For admission into the Bachelor of Laws, applicants must have a minimum KCSE mean grade of C+ (Plus) with at least a B (Plain) in either English or Kiswahili, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the University.

Admission into the Master of Laws requires a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with at least Second Class Honors (Upper Division). Applicants with Second Class Honors (Lower Division) may also qualify with a minimum of two years’ post-qualification professional experience.
