Freedom250 Festival at JKUAT: Connecting Cultures, Inspiring Innovation, and Expanding Global Opportunities

Held on May 28–29, 2026, the Freedom250 Festival at JKUAT, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy Nairobi, perfectly demonstrated how cultural exchange can become a powerful tool for learning, innovation, technology, and global engagement.
Through interactive activities including virtual reality university tours, drone lessons and obstacle races, robotics and 3D printing showcases, AI demonstrations, live podcasts, film screenings on emerging technologies, and student-centered experiences such as the cook-A-Thon, the festival created an engaging platform where students and staff could interact with ideas shaping the future.
